I’m currently drawing a large scale picture of Salts Mill in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. Starting with a pencil drawing, I’m trying to make it as accurate as possible, so there’s been a lot of window counting (my, how the nights fly by). I’m going to try and fill each window in the finished version with famous (or perhaps not so famous) Yorkshire men and women who have some connection to the area.
